The same few questions arrive every week in comments and DMs, and my answer rarely changes. Each one is written out here, with the video if there is one, so I can point people to something more useful than a reply.

Is a master’s degree worth it for data science?
Not all master's degrees are the same product, so the real question is whether the specific programs you can get into are worth it. Two checks tell you most of it: whether there is a professor you would want to work under, and how recent graduates actually did on the job market.
